Oh Canada!!

Saturday,
Oct

I took a weekend trip to beautiful Toronto Canada to see my family, and what else can I say... that place is BEAUTIFUL! I've never been there before but have always heard how cold it was, so I was bracing myself for the cold, but the weather was actually very nice. The drive there took me 8hrs, which wasn't so bad. Once we arrived in Canada it was just fresh of breathe air. It's just a beautiful place, the landscapes, the houses, the streets are clean and the people are soo nice. I was just in awe. If the weather oversall was warmer, I would move there in a heartbeat...LOL!!

WOW...that was a BIG Jump... but what I can I say, having a baby takes a toll on your body.

The Heat is On!!!

Monday,

HOT YOGA... It's the New Thing... Hot Yoga is a series of yoga poses done in a heated room. The room is usually maintained at a temperature of 95-100 degrees while doing 26 yoga poses.
Today was my first session doing Bikram Hot Yoga, and what can I say, but AMAZING!! It was the best yoga experience I've had. Just AMAZING!!! My hubby and I went together. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but always kept pushing it off. I would say, yea, I'm going next, but always found an excuse. Even today, I was getting ready to back out and not go. I thought to myself, really, enough is enough, I need to go, and that is what I did.  So I finally got into the studio, and let me tell you, it was a very small room with about 15 people inside, the room was HOT!!!  I started to look at the member of the class, and they were sweating just sitting there. After speaking with the Yoga Instructor, I prep myself to get started. We started with several warm-up stretches, breathing exercises and poses, then we got fully into the 1 hr workout. I've NEVER sweat sooo much in my life. After the one hour session. I was DRENCHED!! The feeling after the session, is just unexplainable. I felt refresh, re-rejuvenated, energize, light, and free. I looked in the mirror and I my face seemed clearer and glowing. It was just an amazing feeling. At first it can be very intimidating, but once you get into the whole motion of the poses, you'll do fine. I'm going back... I'm in LOVE. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you give this a try.

NYC- $ 10.00  (Unbelievable Sale) This weekend I took the time to do something nice for myself. It's been a very long time since I've done anything. Since having the baby, I've haven't been feeling like myself. Feeling down, struggle to fit in my clothes, trying to work out then losing the motivation, just not feeling like, "Me". Something simple as getting your hair done, makes you feel different. They say shopping is a stress reliever and it sure nuff is...LOL!!!.

I started on Monday where I only drink fluids throughout the day (green juice, fruit juice, soy milk, green tea, water, ect--NO SODA PEOPLE) and then I would eat dinner and I do not eat anything after 8pm. ( In the morning, I would drink a green juice blend which consist of Kale, Green Apples, Celery, Broccoli, and Spanish. Put all of that into the juicer and drink it, it not as bad as you think... trust me!

Hello Lovely YMM Readers, Welcome to the weekend!
  How cute is this cat?...LOL!!!
TGIF... The weekend is here... and all I can say is Thank God!! Yayyyy.. So what are your plans for this weekend.  This weekend I challenge all you moms and for those who are not moms to do something for yourself. Take this weekend to focus on you. During the week, we are all busy, working, coming home to cook dinner, tending to children, changing diapers, and all the other stuff, but the question is what is it that you do for yourself during the week? As for me, I don't do much. I work late some night, go home to cook dinner, tend to my boys, my hubby, and my newborn, so there's not much time for me.

Paying For Dinner on a Date

Today's Topic on CTT (Coffee Talk Thursday)
Should the MEN or WOMEN Pay?
Now really, what are your thoughts? If you have a date with either your significant other, someone of interest, or even a friend, do you think the woman should take up the tab? I say YES!!! I know that it's old fashion for the man to pay for the meals, but come on... EVERY TIME?! Really, why should they have to pay all the time? If you are in a relationship then I feel it should go both ways, but now, if you just getting to know each other and your on your first date, then yes, maybe the guys can pay, but this doesn't mean, every time you go out on the town he is covering tolls, parking, drinks, and dinner. When my hubby and I go out, and I have no problem with picking up the bill, and he does it the next time we go out. It's all about balance. It can't always be him paying, and I don't mind it at all. A lot of people want the benefits of a wife or husband with the privileges of a bachelor or bachelorette. You need to realize that you can’t have it all one way, and in order to stay balanced you must practice balance.

-Getting the Spark Back into Your Relationships!
Have you lost your FIRE in your relationship? Don't lose hope if you have... you can get the FIRE back.
“Love is like a campfire: It may be sparked quickly, and at first the kindling throws out a lot of heat, but it burns out quickly. For long lasting, steady warmth (with delightful bursts of intense heat from time to time), you must carefully tend the fire.” ~ Molleen Matsumura
